Pastor Angela Barrett has dedicated 28 years to her ministry. She commenced her journey in 1998 as an intercessor at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Georgia, where she served for four years under the guidance of Bishop Eddie Long. In 2002, following the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, she pursued further education in teaching at NBMBC for one year, which led her to take on the role of lead teacher in the Children's Ministry until 2009.

In 2009, Pastor Angela relocated from Atlanta, Georgia, to Olympia, Washington, to assume the position of Director of the Children's Ministry at New Life Baptist Church, working under Bishop Anthony Obey. She played a crucial role in developing the curriculum for the Children's Ministry and was ordained by Bishop Anthony Obey in March 2010. She continued to serve in this capacity until 2015.

Pastor Angela is passionate about soul harvesting and has participated in numerous Thanksgiving events, where she and others prepared meals for the homeless in Tacoma, Washington.

While residing in Olympia, she also served as a Chaplain at Saint Joseph Center in Tacoma and at Hospice House in Lakewood, Washington, where she provided encouragement and spiritual guidance to the sick, leading some to accept Christ Jesus.

Pastor Angela earned two Master's degrees: one in Biblical Studies in 2012 and another in Divinity in 2014 from Covenant Bible Seminary in Lakewood, Washington.

In 2015, she moved from Olympia, Washington, to Monroe, North Carolina, and became the First Lady of True Word Pentecostal Holiness Church in 2020, where she supports her husband, Apostle James Henry Barrett, in the ministry.
