Music Ministry

Minister James Richardson has been deeply engaged in gospel music since his early years. Over the span of more than two decades, he has delivered numerous performances. He serves as the manager of Sounds of Joy of the Carolinas, a group dedicated to sharing the love of Christ through music across North Carolina and South Carolina.
Minister James's testimony regarding his devotion to God is clearly reflected in the stories of what God has accomplished in his life and that of his family. He is married to Laura, and together they lead the devotion sessions at our church.
Residing in Monroe, North Carolina, they are blessed with eight adult children, fourteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
The primary objective is to utilize music as a means of spiritual expression and connection, both with the Divine and with fellow individuals. The music minister facilitates congregational singing, plays instruments during services, composes and performs music, and creates opportunities for individuals to showcase their musical talents.
Our music ministry centers on the nature of God, conveying gratitude, glorifying Jesus, and imparting biblical teachings. It is frequently integrated with worship, offering a platform for individuals to engage with God through song and melody.
The ministry seeks to inspire and cultivate the spiritual journeys of individuals through the transformative power of music. It should be inclusive, welcoming anyone who wishes to participate and share their talents, irrespective of their level of expertise.
The Music Ministry is under the leadership of Minister James Richardson.
